Founder of the Nemat Qasemi Foundation
Nematullah Qasemi, born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and currently residing in the State of Colorado, United States, founded the Nemat Qasemi Foundation out of a deep commitment to human dignity, the importance of education, and social responsibility, with the aim of serving the people of Afghanistan and contributing to a better future. Mr. Qasemi believes that sustainable progress in Afghanistan can be achieved through education, human empowerment, support for those in need, and responsible social engagement. In his view, education is not merely the transfer of knowledge; it is a means of creating opportunities, nurturing talent, strengthening the confidence of the younger generation, and enabling them to make meaningful contributions to the future of their country. For this reason, supporting education and expanding educational opportunities for children and young people hold a central place in his vision and initiatives. Mr. Qasemi also believes that, alongside investment in education, the immediate and essential needs of disadvantaged individuals and families should not be overlooked. Supporting those in need and assisting vulnerable communities, in his view, is an expression of compassion and shared human responsibility. Such assistance, however, should be provided, to the greatest extent possible, in a targeted, transparent, and dignified manner, with full respect for the dignity of those being served. Mr. Qasemi believes that meaningful change begins with small but consistent steps. Guided by integrity, trust, transparency, compassion, and social responsibility, his goal is to contribute to the well-being of the people of Afghanistan and help create a brighter future and greater opportunities for generations to come.

Early Motivation
The Nemat Qasemi Foundation was established on the fundamental belief that access to education and basic support in underserved areas should remain continuous, regardless of challenging environmental circumstances. Having observed and understood the structural barriers to education and essential infrastructure, Nematullah Qasemi recognized the need for effective, coordinated, and generous action.
Rather than providing temporary and short-term assistance, he focused on establishing a sustainable institution capable of systematic planning, local participation, and continuous regional development.
A lasting institution
From the outset, the Foundation was structurally established to support longterm development objectives. Educational, humanitarian, and infrastructure projects were integrated within a centralized operational framework to maximize efficiency and accountability.
The Nematullah Qasemi Educational Center was subsequently established to provide beneficiaries directly with language courses, technology literacy, and vocational training.
Organizational Management and Continuity of Operations
The ongoing activities of the Nemat Qasemi Foundation are aligned across the three core areas mentioned above, with a firm commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability to the needs of local communities.
